Golden Yellow
Enjoy an abundance of double flowers for fresh and dried arrangements. We offer several individual colours of these tall, well-branching strawflowers including Golden Yellow with its vibrant yellow petals. Easy to grow, the 90-100 cm (36-40”) tall plants are very tolerant of hot and dry conditions.

King Size Orange
Bountiful, burnt orange flowers that are tinged with deeper red-orange on the tips and undersides but are a sunny, golden-orange when they fully open. The double flowers are 5-7cm (2-2.5") across and grow atop tall, branching stems. They bloom from the end of summer through to fall. Growing to 90-100cm (36-40') tall, this the quintessential choice for dried arrangements, but is also an excellent fresh cut flower.

How to grow
Bright Rose & Golden Yellow
Timing: Sow indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting after last frost date. Direct seeding is not recommended. Optimal soil temperature for germination: 18-21 degrees C (65-70F).
Seeding:Sow seeds on the surface of the soil. Water from below or use a mister to avoid distributing the seeds. Space 30cm (12") apat, and only transplant once the night time temperatures are consistantly above 10 degrees C (50F).
Growing: Keep blooms harvested for optimal yeilds. Cut before fully open.
King Size Orange
Timing: Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting. That's before the third week in February on the coast. Optimal soil temperature for germination: 18-21 degrees C (65-70F). Seeds should sprout in 5-20 days.
Seeding: Sow seeds on the surface of the soil. Water from below or use a mister to avoid distributing the seeds. Space 30-45cm (12-18") apat, and only transplant once the night time temperatures are consistantly above 10 degrees C (50F).
Growing: Strawflower seeds are uniform, so they bloom all at once from summer to late fall.
