A safe and non-toxic repellent for slugs and snails. Copper has served as a reliable barrier against snails and slugs for many years, as the metal interacts with the secretions of these mollusks, generating a flow of electricity. Even narrow strips of copper can conduct sufficient electricity to deliver a "bite" to a snail or slug. It will not rust, stain, or cause contamination, and it develops a lovely verdigris patina over time. Position copper strips around pots, trees, and other areas.
