The box tree moth, scientifically known as Cydalima perspectalis, originates from East Asia. In areas where it has invaded, the larvae of Cydalima perspectalis consume the foliage of box trees, specifically Buxus spp., leading to defoliation. Extreme defoliation can result in the demise of the trees. Nevertheless, the most considerable harm occurs when the larvae damage the bark of box trees, which causes the trees to desiccate and ultimately perish

Use trap from end of May through to October, as long as moths are active. Hang Trap at eye level for tall box trees (over 1.5 meters). Place trap on a hanger for shorter box trees.
This kit includes: Reusable trap and 2 pheromone lures to cover the full season. Each lure lasts approximately three months. Attracts only Boxwood Moths and is safe for beneficial insects, bees and birds.
