BIRDING
Birds and insects are at the very bottom of our food webs. Not only do birds provide the services of pollinating plants, but they also help to disperse seeds and control insects.
Healthy and thriving bird populations are excellent bio-indicators of environmental health.
During the spring and summer seasons, birds mostly rear their young by feeding them caterpillars. Caterpillars that feed on native trees and shrubs (click here for a list of keystone plants). But we can help our feathered friends thrive with supplemental, high-quality bird food, especially during the winter months. We've got you covered!
