Trap & Lure - Cucumber Beetle

Cucumber beetles can cause incredible damage to all plants in the cucurbit family: 

• cucumber
• watermelon
• pumpkin
• cantaloupe
• squash

They will kill or stunt seedlings, damage stems, and feed on flowers and fruit.

This trap uses multiple pheromone lures to attract both females and males of both striped and spotted cucumber beetle species. The lures attract the beetles to an adhesive surface that hold the beetles in place.

This is just one of the recommended management controls for cucumber beetles and should be used in conjunction with:

1. Crop rotation
2. Companion plantings (catnip, radishes)
3. Row covers
4. Hand picking
