L'Épilobe is the first work in Un Bouquet pour Simone series inspired by the boreal forest. It portrays Fireweed (Epilobium angustifolium), a herbaceous perennial found throughout the northern hemisphere. It is a pioneer species that rapidly colonizes open areas with little competition, such as the sites of forest fires and forest clearings.
Couronne du St-Laurent is a work composed of a variety of algae collected along the St. Lawrence River between Percé and Anse-au-Griffon. It is the fifth Forêts d'Algues, a series that attempts to capture the contrast specific to each shore of the Gaspé coast.
La Nocturne is a work from the series Bouquet pour Simone, composed of flowering juneberry and pearly everlasting — a bouquet under the velvet of night, where moonlight caresses the flowers of a sleeping forest.
