Beneficial Nematodes for Lawns

Does your lawn have brown patches of dead turf grass? Are skunks and raccoons digging up your lawn in the spring? Are your prized garden plants being eaten by invasive beetles during the summer months? It could mean you have lawn grubs. Grubs are the larval stage of either June beetles or invasive Japanese beetles and European chafer beetles. They grow in the soil by feasting on your lawn's roots, before emerging as beetles. There is a way to control their populations through NON-TOXIC BIOLOGICAL CONTROLS.

Beneficial nematodes to the rescue!

Nematodes are microscopic organisms that naturally live in the soil. The Lawn Guardian beneficial nematodes are parasitic soil microorganisms that specifically target the beetle larvae that are eating your grass roots.

It is mixed with water and applied to your lawn with a hose-end sprayer (sold separately - see options) in the spring (mid-May to mid-June) and fall (mid-August to mid-September).

Application rate: 10 million nematodes will cover approx. 2,000 square feet of lawn.
